Chris Robertson is shown here at a September 1998 memorial service for a bicyclist killed by a bus at 24th and Valencia.  Commenting at the time (correctly it turned out) on what the impact of this incident would be he said, "My guess is it will drop out of sight.  The City of San Francisco is just not very bicycle friendly and one of the symptoms of this is the bicyclist dies and nobody pays attention."
